Facilities Maintenance Technician Opportunity
For over 50-years, the Calvary Healing Center has provided leading residential and outpatient addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers a 50-bed residential treatment program for drug and alcohol addiction, while also providing a separate Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. A standalone 18-bed detox facility is also on-site and located in a separate wing to better address the needs of those who require extra care before officially entering the treatment program.

Facilities Maintenance Technician General Purpose: The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing the physical plant including maintenance and grounds keeping while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government regulatory agencies, while working alongside the Director and the Supervisor of Plant Operations. This person wiill perform a variety of tasks such as painting, carpentary, plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventative maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision

Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2 years of technical or trade school preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Current Adult CPR, AED, & First Aid (FA) or Basic Life Support (BLS) & FA Certification
- Sucessful completion of Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) Training, within 30 days of employment
- Experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safey precautions
- Understanding of Ohm's Law and refrigeration theory
- Experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering
- Experience with reading blueprints and understand Life Safety Code and OSHA Regulations
