Navistar has an opportunity for a
Facilities Manager position at their Corporate Headquarters in Lisle, Illinois. The Facilities Manager reports to the Associate Facilities Director and is responsible to plan and manage a $20 million building budget as well as assisting with the management of the day-to-day operation of the 1.4 million sq ft office complex.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare annual building budget, review budget monthly. Monthly meetings with Corporate Finance to review- Coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Lisle office complex
- Develop, mentor, train and supervise department support staff
- Backup administration of security badges for onboarding employees and contractors
- Receive, assess, and route hotline calls and emails to appropriate person/department for resolution
- Participate in discussions with other managers and supervisors to prepare request for proposals for services managed by the Facilities
- Department. This includes but not limited to janitorial, food services, landscaping, irrigation system and snow removal
- Provide secondary support for all other facilities' vendor contracts
- Supervise the coordination of internal and external moves of Navistar employees on campus
- Supervise Facilities Associate positions
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 6 years of facilities or administration experience
- 1 year lead experience
OR
- Master’s degree
- At least 4 years of facilities or administration experience
- 1 year lead experience
OR
- At least 8 years of facilities or administration experience
- 1 year lead experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
- Corporate Facilities experience
- Project management and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, including well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Delivers superior service levels to internal and external customers
