Our client company in Mayo, is looking for Mechanical Maintenance Foreman. The role involves undertaking general duties in a local medical facility.

Plumbing background may be preferred along with experience in systems and services such as heating systems, hot and cold water systems and services, electro mechanical systems and equipment such as BMS and medical gas systems.

Experience in managing a team along with strong IT administrative skills are essential.

Main Duties

• Supervise the efficient operation and effective maintenance of all buildings and services within the remit of the Maintenance Services, visiting work locations and overseeing works as delegated by the Maintenance Manager/ other designated Managers.
• Management of the installation and maintenance of equipment in an industrial and commercial setting
• Supervise and liaise with trade’s staff, general operatives and associated staff engaged in the maintenance, repair and alteration of services.
• Supervise and control external/internal contractors as relevant to the role
• Maintain Mechanical Engineering Systems.
• Manage the Legionella Control Programme for water systems.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager / other designated officers in relation to energy consumption, plant performance, energy conservation, planned preventive evaluation, trades performance and standards.
• Give full cooperation with future on-going developments within the Maintenance Services and with changes in work practices as a result of new technology.
• Be responsible for the safe custody, maintenance and satisfactory working order of all tools, plants and appliances, including maintenance vehicles in use in the various workshops and other departments under his/her control.

Candidate can expect a salary c 50,000 per annum. 30 Days Annual Leave.
