Analog Devices Wilmington Product Analysis Department is looking to hire an experienced Failure Analysis Technician to assist in solving root cause problems on customer returns and request submitted from internal sources. The ideal candidate would also be involved in supporting new product development and Reliability qualification activities.
Job Description & Duties
  • Take Ownership of Wet lab facility
  • Keep lab stock with PPE, Chemicals, Beakers & Utensils
  • Maintain all equipment & general upkeep
  • Perform Visual, Microscopic & IR Inspection of parts
  • Perform Radiographic (Xray) Examination of parts
  • Curve Tracing
  • Reballing BGA packages
  • Package Reconditioning
  • Package Decapsulation
  • Sample Preparation
  • Mechanical Cross Sections of samples
  • Generate Power point reports when needed
  • Work very closely with Engineers and other Technicians
  • Prepare Lab equipment for Calibration & Receive them in after Calibration
  • Experience with SEM & FIB a plus
Qualifications
  • Technology school graduate, Associates Degree of Bachelor degree preferably in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge in test equipment set up and operations
  • Knowledge of electronic circuits and functions
  • Experience working in the electronic industry, especially with ICs.
