Hudson Guild is building a team of fee for service clinicians! This is a very flexible position that requires a minimum 10 hours a week. Our clinic is open 6 days a week offering on site and tele-health options. Create the hours you want that fit with your schedule! The Fee for Service Therapist will provide mental health outpatient clinic services for children, adolescents and adults in individual and group venues. The clinician must utilize a variety of treatment modalities, maintain appropriate documentation and treatment planning, and work collaboratively with fellow staff/psychiatric personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must have LCSW or LMSW and over 2 years’ experience doing psychotherapy working with a wide-ranging population. Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide mental health services to a caseload of children, adolescents and adults in individual, group and family treatment modalities in the outpatient clinic and other group settings
- Provide these mental health services with an awareness of and respect for diversity, culture, ethnicity, general, and lifestyle—incorporating this knowledge into therapeutic practice
- Coordinate intake evaluations, including scheduling of any appointments for psychiatric evaluation, writing psychosocial summaries, and determining initial DSM IV diagnosis
- Master and utilize computerized treatment systems (AWARDS) for all aspects of client record-keeping/charting, towards assuring all documentation is maintained in a comprehensive, organized and timely manner
- Develop measurable short-term and long-term treatment goals with action plans and completion time frames on a quarterly basis
- Help individual and group client’s access entitlements, benefits, resources, and concrete services as deemed appropriate
- Establish, foster and maintain cooperative relationships with other community agencies, schools, medical facilities/individuals, organizations and resources as deemed appropriate
- Complete daily appointment sheet on a daily basis
- Participate in supervision
- Provide twenty-four-hour emergency coverage on a rotating basis, to all current clinic patients as per program policy guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
