Fermentation Process Scientist
E. Coli experience
Site and Address: Chicago - Abbott Park – AP08B/AP20
Length of assignment: 2 year contract renewable at the 1 year mark
Education: Ph.D., M.S. + 2 years industry experience, or B.S. + 4 years experience. Degree(s) should be in either a biological or chemical science field.
Daily time in/out: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM – CST
Onsite or Remote or Hybrid schedule: On-site
List 3-5 hard requirements for the role:
- Candidate must have experience and demonstrated expertise in bacterial fermentation at the shake-flask, 1-L and 10-L bioreactor scales.
- Candidate should have experience in SIP fermentation process development and optimization for enhanced target molecule expression. Knowledge of statistical data analysis and programing automated systems is a plus.

Salary: $19.57 - $33.00 per hour
