Your role

The Retirement Plan Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging financial advisors and sale intermediaries to help promote and support retirement plan sales. The Retirement Plan Specialist will work directly with financial advisors and sales intermediaries to help guide retirement plan opportunities through the sales process which includes business development, lead identification, prospect nurturing, sales execution and client onboarding. This individual is tasked with becoming a trusted resource and partner for financial advisors for retirement plan sales.

Requirements

  • Meet or exceed a specified sales goal within a territory to drive sales of retirement plans by working with financial advisors and sales intermediaries on prospective retirement plan clients.
  • Guide and support financial advisors and sales intermediaries through all phases of the sales journey from prospecting to client onboarding.
  • Manage the sales process and create a continuous feedback loop with financial advisors and sales intermediaries to ensure lead progression through the sales funnel
  • Consult with the financial advisor and sales intermediaries on sales positioning based on the client’s retirement plan needs and goals.
  • Present on client calls to promote the value proposition of UBS to retirement plan prospects and clients.
  • Educate financial advisors and sales intermediaries on the marketing resources available to them and their clients.
  • Assist financial advisors with onboarding new relationships with a goal of creating a frictionless experience for the financial advisor and client.
  • Document all engagement in CRM software for tracking and monitoring
  • Develop and foster relationships with financial advisors and sales intermediaries to become a trusted and ongoing sales resource.
  • Engage with recordkeeping partners to work towards shared business goals in business development, sales execution and overcoming sales obstacles to meet or exceed specific sales goals.
