Job Summary: The position of Field Operations Supervisor will fill a critical role in support of all EMS Team Members at their respective Regional Office location. The incumbent will facilitate, in frequent daily contact with the EMS teams, improved communications, coordinating and scheduling staff shift schedules, maintaining appropriate records related to compliance and training. The incumbent will also be responsible for supporting, under the direction of the Operations Manager, the smooth effective and efficient operations of the regional office in support of the EMS field teams.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for frequent communications with all EMS teams regarding field operations topics, messaging of policies, procedures and Team Member understanding of operational and administrative requirements. Effectively handling, in consultation with HR, discipline matters and explaining HR policies with Team Members. The Field Operations Supervisor will also be responsible for the following:
1) Ensures company policies and procedures followed by road personnel.
2) Ensure crews check off truck, stock it and get on road on time
3) Ensure all truck equipment computer, keys etc. are ready for each shift
4) Uniform inspections
5) Provide Lift Assist and demand truck deployment as needed
6) Daily trip reconciliation
7) Be prepared to respond on calls as needed
8) Provide periodic reports to:
- Keep management informed on current operations.
- Provide insight to support senior management with strategic decisions regarding the direction of the company.
Experience: Approximately 3-5+ years of current or very recent EMS experience as an EMT, Paramedic or in a related EMS supervisory role.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification: A High School degree or GED plus a current and valid national or state certification as an EMT or Paramedic in the applicable regional office State. Additionally, a valid and current driver license in the regional office state. Valid CPR card.
Essential Physical Job Functions: Able to push or lift 120 pounds frequently on a daily basis and to work as required in warm, cold and/or rainy weather at different times of day. Able to stand for prolonged periods of time (1-3 hours).
