The Retail Field Representative is responsible for leading relationships at the store level, implementing marketing programs and conducting service activities in order to achieve objectives for volume, revenue, consumer experience, retention, and satisfaction. In this role, you will help shape and execute growth strategies. Collaborate on annual business plans while leading consumer facing actives such as farm calls, product trainings and consumer events. Key Accountabilities
This role will drive sales by supporting the in-store experience, grand opening events, and marketing promotions, while delivering on key sales opportunities in the assigned territory. Develop and implement promotional activities to expand brand awareness. Identify market segments to present company information. Coordinate the salesforce and displays to successfully grow a brand. Recognize and pursue new market segments and opportunities for business development. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (equine, poultry, or pet industry). Minimum of two years of sales experience. (Formal or Informal experience) Ability to travel overnight and minimum of 60% of the time. Schedule flexibility (occasional weekends and overnight shifts). Highly organized and self-motivated, able to set and follow priorities, manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of animal nutrition industry. Excellent communication skills (written, oral and listening). Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word). Experience using Salesforce.com Selling experience in the retail channel. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability of responsible decision making. Job Information
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. This position is located in Southern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois. We require the candidate to be physically located in any of those locations due to business strategy.
