Job description
Role Purpose
Order generation in Dunnes Stores, Business Development within the wider Retail sector, including auditing and market intelligence feedback.
**Please note this is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role.
Role Focus
- To generate orders in all Dunnes Stores branches (SN)
- Ensure all products which are ranged on plan are in store
- Increase product distribution where possible (SV & Proxi)
- Ensure all new products are presented professionally in all outlets
- Action to eliminate off sales in all outlets ie Bookstocks in Tesco
- Review under space issues and correct at a local level
- Check back stores for OOS and merchandise product on shelf as needed
- Maintain pre-agreed journey plan
- New store opening support
Promotional Management
- Maximize all promotional activity ensuring correct mechanic is in place with relevant POS
- Participate in and drive test market launches & promotions
- Participate in sales and marketing promotions as assigned by the Company
- Maintain up to date Retailer Packs with relevant information – promotions, plans
Customer Engagement
- Maximise Danone sales in all other outlets (Tesco, SuperValu, Pharmacy, Proximity Channel)
- A strategic approach with strong negotiation skills for upselling to customers and managing returns
- Work with accounts to agree short term, medium and long term goals for growing Danone business within the account
- Market Intelligence
- Awareness of competitor activity and feeding back intelligence from stores
- Develop Field Market Intelligence in regard to competitors and multiple retail strategies
- Complete all reports accurately and on time
Interactions - Internal & External
Internal : Grocery & Impulse customer teams, Category, Supply, Shopper and Marketing, Consumer Connections
External: Store Managers, Merchandising Agencies and Instore Demonstration Agencies
