Elemental Scientific is the leader in the exciting field of automation and on-line monitoring instrumentation for elemental and isotopic analysis using ICPMS detection. ESI is rapidly expanding and looking for motivated people with the drive and passion to support our current and future customers.

Position Description:

As a Field Scientist, you will be visiting customer sites to provide technical support and complete installations for automated systems. Previous experience with ICP / ICPMS analysis is required. This self-motivated candidate will be working independently, building strong customer relationships and multitasking to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive travel throughout New England
• Assist customers with installation, training, maintenance and field service of lab automation systems
• Accessibility to be on-call for remote or onsite assistance to troubleshoot customer’s needs with ICP / ICPMS testing
• Collaborate with customers to fine tune analytical methods and streamline laboratory workflow
• Present marketing and new product information to customers at regional seminars and expos
• Contribute technical knowledge for sales and marketing opportunities

Qualifications:

• Suggest 5 years of experience required with ICP / ICPMS instrumentation and analysis
• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline
• New York / New England area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,636.44 - $60,981.52 per year
