Field Service Technician Assistant

Summary

As a Field Service Technician Assistant you will support our Field Service Technician in handling day-to-day work load. This will include working in customer’s home and on construction sites to make repairs on Pella products.

• Assist in repairs and service windows and doors.
• Ensure the proper tools and equipment are available and maintained.
• Interact with customers to explain issues and solutions.
• Communicates appropriate information back to the service department.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry field.

Education and/or Experience

Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry trade, must be able to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid driver's license is a plus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
