ACCO Brands / GBC is seeking a Field Service Technician. Duties include Field service, repair, and maintenance of roll laminators, business card cutters, ream paper cutters, punch machines, and other print finishing equipment in the Dallas TX area. Get back to utilizing your skillset and enjoy repairing office equipment again as a GBC Field Service Technician!

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service to our clients and promote business.
• Perform break / fix service calls in an assigned area
• Servicing, installing, diagnosing and repairing binding, laminating, cutting, folding, stitching, and other document handling equipment
• Manage your own daily schedule to meet the customer expectations.
• Maintain your spare parts inventory and manage your calls and parts on the company laptop
• Provide operator training to customers on machine operations and job setup

Qualifications:

• Two (2) year associate degree, trade certifications, or equivalent field experience required
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a mandatory requirement
• We need your Electro-Mechanical experience using a multi-meter to troubleshoot circuits and reading schematics to troubleshoot machines. Your prior experience as a HVAC technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic or Repair work performed in the Military gives you a leg up on this position.
• Superior time management skills and RELIABILITY. Our customers are counting on you. If you're a person who has trouble staying on track, this job is probably not a good fit for you.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic experience required
• Must have excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills
• Self-Starter and Self Motivated
• Must have a professional presence and ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and comfortable using computers
• Local candidates – No relocation assistance will be provided
