Come join the Command and Control (C2) Ground domain within RMS as we revolutionize our ground systems infrastructure and sustained support programs.

If selected, you will be joining the remote Fielded Systems Engineering group as a Field Manager responsible for the team that completes day to day maintenance, trouble shooting, fault isolation, and analysis of complex computer and communications equipment supplied to the local customer site.

In this role, you will balance your time between technical and leadership tasks to include but not limited to the following:

This individual will provide IMINT software system support and perform or assist military operators in the performance of software duties on specialized OEM systems.

Install software patches, investigate and report software anomalies/deficiencies, and configure software to accommodate operational requirements.

Coordinate with site personnel and the OEM contractor(s) in the support of sub-system software during all real-time operations, and operational testing.

During real-time operations, responsible for constantly monitoring system health and actively intervening to resolve any detected problems.

Responsible for the monitoring and tuning of specific sub-systems to achieve optimum level of performance as well as detecting, isolating, and resolving system/sensor problems in order to maximize system availability.

Support media management through internal methods and procedures or through off-site storage and retrieval services.

Assist local security in conducting routine software audits for compliance with established standards, policies, procedures and configuration guidelines.

Assist software, hardware, analysts, and military personnel in problem identification and resolution.

May also perform as an advisor or trainer for military operators and maintainers.

Coach and oversee group and individual development using technical leadership and performance management

Ensure efforts are effectively staffed and that personnel are fully engaged and committed to program success

Maintain awareness, engagement and communication of critical issues and their reach across programs

Lead and execute strategic initiatives to improve cost, schedule, and technical performance

Proven skills providing technical and administrative direction to other employees

Work extended shifts including holidays and weekends if needed.

You will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active/Current DoD TS Security Clearance

  • DOD 8570 Security+ certification or equivalent

  • The position requires excellent leadership skills and demonstration of all the tenants of Full Spectrum Leadership

  • Domain experience with GEOINT processing
systems

  • AF Distributed Common Ground Systems (AF
DCGS) operations and/or maintenance
experience
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with C++, Linux, JAVA, Windows,
and Solaris 10 operating and networking
knowledge.

  • IMINT operation and/or maintenance
experience with T-MAN,10.2, and other related
systems.

  • Familiarity with DGS-X operations.

  • Software and systems integration support for all Signals Reconnaissance products, including CETS, MSCS, RIM, SDS, SEAM, and other related systems.

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical and programmatic issues to your team, peers, management and customers

  • Experience modeling Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives, ownership and accountability

  • Represents plant personnel in the delivery and integration of products at local Configuration Management Staging Reviews and Technical Exchange Meetings

  • Familiarity troubleshooting issues with vCenter/ESXI, Docker Containers, ActiveMQ, Weblogic and JBoss and updating accounts in Oracle Databases.

  • Highly motivated individual able to form effective relationships within program, with other enterprise organizations, and with customer personnel

  • Experience balancing multiple, competing priorities in a highly dynamic, high-tempo environment

  • Balancing programmatic, functional, leadership, and technical tasks

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical and programmatic issues to your team, peers, management and customers

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
