Finance Manager - Cork Luxury Hotel Group
Our Client, a small Luxury Hotel Group in Cork, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This is an all-encompassing finance role looking after the financial matters of the hotel properties. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will become a key member of the senior management team and provide valuable business insight to the General Managers and the Hotel Management team. The successful will have responsibility for the accounting systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Hotels finances.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with minimum 3 years post qualification experience
- Hospitality Experience Preferred
- Preparation of Management Accounts & Reports, Budgeting and forecasting; Revenue analysis & Audits
- Preparation and review of cash flows; Implementation and maintenance of controls including Cash management;
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands on role
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish goals
- Ability to translate data into insights and develop and deliver actions; This role is to analyse the business, come up with creative solutions to drive profitability through management of sales, margins, and overheads
- Strong IT Skills; Proficient with Excel & other software
