Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in similar roles preferred
• Experience with the manufacturing industry preferred

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong communication and analytical skills are required, in addition to good computer proficiency
• Interested in taking on a leadership role.
• Critical/forward thinker and results oriented individual
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to address issues from multiple perspectives, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet all deadlines with supervision and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex findings and concepts into key data points and visualizations
• Experience with SAP ERP is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzing revenue and cost data to accurately forecast business performance as well as improve financial performance
• Partnering with employees at all levels in the organization regarding the interpretation and utilization of financial information
• Owning financial compliance activities, including reviewing testing accuracy, completeness of documentation, and conforming to GAAP/IFRS
• Accountable for accurate standard costs and annual review process, inventory costing and absorption testing, and accuracy of product profitability data
• Responsible for accurately compiling data and preparing journal entries during the month-end financial closing processes
• Leading the monthly reconciliation of GL accounts, including resolving outstanding items
• Supporting annual audit, liaison with operations and interface with external auditors
• Creating and maintaining documentation of financial processes.
• Supports Controller and Operations with any ad hoc reporting requests
