Job Summary: This position is for a Finishing Manager at the Southeast Region Delhi, LA facility. This position will serve on the Plant Lead Team and report directly to the Plant Manager.

This person will be required to maintain:

• A safe and organized department
• Lead, train, coach and develop team members
• Safely produce the highest possible quality products at the lowest possible cost
• Reach desired goals for housekeeping, safety, quality, COTD and production goals
• Ensure that the team members follow all company policies, practices and procedures
• Meet and exceed customer expectations.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry
• Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry
• Formal Leadership Training is required
• Must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma is a plus
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite, Excel and One Note proficiency

• Knowledge of Extrusion Press practices

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for directing Anodize operations performed in three shifts of production lines, ensuring the anodize and finish operations reaches safety, quality, volume and cost goals.
• Oversee the development/execution of Anodize Strategic A3’s that align EHS, Quality, Time, Cost & People with the operations business case
• Enforces compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with organizations’ policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, making hiring decisions, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Investigates causes of customer or other complaints and responds accordingly
