Part-Time Sports Performance Coach Job Opening
At Kinect Performance we thrive on the idea of challenging the status quo. We foster a growth mindset in all that we do for our clients and each other. We currently have a sport performance membership of 50+ that focuses on training rotational athletes, specifically golfer. You, as a fitness professional, will work closely on coaching, program design, and management of clients. This part-time position will grow your knowledge of strength and conditioning as well as business development.
Job Requirement
- 4 year College Degree (Or currently in the process).
- National training certification is required (CSCS, CPT, NASM, etc.).
- 1 year experience or internship is required (TPI Certification is preferred but not required).
- Must have golf experience ie.) Teaches golf, currently plays golf professionally or recreationally.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- 18 years of age or older with eligible work status in the U.S.
Job Responsibilities
● Program design, coach classes and private clients
● Show up on time for all classes/appointments
● Interact and get to know members/athletes on a personal level to better motivate them
● Understand client goals and be in contact with their swing coaches if necessary
● Complete assigned tasks and readings
● Be engaged and provide 100% attentive and expert coaching while on the floor or in meetings
● Demonstrate Kinect Performance values and mission
● Miscellaneous duties around facility
Hours & Compensation
10-25 hrs/week; rate negotiable, based on experience (starting at $20-25 per hr)
Benefits
$250 continuing education allowance for every 6 months of employment
