Scotty's Contracting and Stone, LLC is accepting applications for Flaggers._ This position will work with multiple crews throughout the Elizabethtown area building various projects such as commercial parking lots, city streets, county roads and interstate highways. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. We are looking for *long term* employees who are seeking a great *career_*!

Description:

• Help manage and direct the flow of traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and flags in accordance with trained procedures.
• Driving to and from work sites.
• Assist the construction and paving crew with labor tasks as needed.
• May assist traffic control with lane closures, placing barrels and cones.
• Opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications:

· Able to work outdoors in extreme conditions, such as cold, heat, and humidity.

· Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.

· Able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and overtime as needed.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.

· Ability to get along with others.

· Positive customer service-oriented attitude.

Scotty's Contracting and Stone, LLC is a subsidiary of Houchens Industries and participates in an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). The Employee Stock Ownership Plan provides employees with a retirement through profit sharing.
