Job description

We are currently looking for qualified applicants for Fleet Maintenance.

Fleet Mechanics will work under the direction of the Fleet Manager, will coordinate, schedule, provide technical diagnostics, and perform proper repairs, setup and maintenance on all fleet vehicles and equipment (small engine as well), ensuring safe operation and equipment available for all branches.

Duties Included:

- Perform repairs and maintenance to brakes, oil changes, tires, alternators, AC repairs, compressors, small engine repair, electrical and other common diagnostics

Must be able to:

-Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems

- Engine Diagnostics - Read, understand and be able to remedy codes

- Tune Ups

- Mechanically be able to replace hang on engine parts

Other duties may include:

  • Assist in maintaining parts and materials inventory. Order supplies and maintain related records and files.
  • Schedule and assign repairs and maintenance work as well as building maintenance and clean up duties as required.
  • Participate in employee training programs and provides technical training/assistance to shop personnel as required.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate, direct and oversee work performed by assigned shop personnel. May assume additional duties in absence of Fleet Manager.
