The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Zephyrhills

The role you’ll contribute:

Under the guidance of the Patient Service Manager, prepares the floor stock cart with the necessary supplies to stock each nursing unit/ floor with adequate food supplies for patients. The Floor Stock Specialist will utilize par levels to stock each area. Review and update temperature log dailys, maintain cleanliness of the refrigerators and coffee machines for servicing. Works closely with nursing to provide support and resolve issues as they arise.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Prepare the floor stock cart with the necessary supplies to stock each nursing unit.

• Use the appropriate par levels approved by nursing.

• Stock each nursing unit with the supplies needed to maintain adequate supplies for patients.

• Coordinate with each nurse manager to adjust pars as volumes fluctuate. Leverage your knowledge and relationships to seek their buy in before making any changes.

• Be proactive to understand the changing needs of our patient.
