We are excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Food and Beverage Supervisor. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor should have the experience to efficiently handle all aspects of day-to-day restaurant work. They need to be comfortable working alongside both kitchen and wait staff, and also waiting tables should a busy day require it. Those who previously excelled in other restaurant jobs will know how to hire and train employees to work under them and how to help those employees meet high standards of service and safety.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising food preparation and presentation, including taste testing new recipes
- Managing dining room staff by providing training, developing schedules, and setting work standards
- Managing inventory of food and beverage supplies and ordering additional items as needed
- Managing the staff schedule to ensure that enough workers are hired to handle peak times without overstaffing during slow times
- Maintaining inventory of supplies such as glassware, silverware, napkins, and table linens
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the dining facility by monitoring employees’ adherence to sanitation rules
- Reviewing customer feedback to determine areas of improvement for the dining experience
- Monitoring the quality of food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service to ensure it meets company standards
