Woodie Fisher is located in the oldest remaining structure in the Union Station Neighborhood, one of Denver’s first fire stations- Hose House No. 1, and named after Redwood “Woodie” Fisher, one of Denver’s earliest fire foremen. The building is featured on the National Historic Registry and includes the original brick exterior, glass ceiling, and outdoor seating with a dog-friendly patio.
Spearheaded by Executive Chef Franco Ruiz, Woodie Fisher offers fire-inspired small plates and Colorado-raised proteins, locally-and seasonably-sourced whole grains and greens, and even nostalgic classics for pre-or post-baseball outings. Craft cocktails, mocktails, and eight rotating beer taps offer visitors a variety of beverage options that pair well with the eclectic food menu.

Located two blocks from Coors Field and three blocks from Union Station, this trendy restaurant was recently listed as the only Colorado restaurant on Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants in the country.

This is a tipped position at $14.98/hr plus tips.

Position Info
The Food Runner ensures all serving ware used by the servers is clean and well maintained, organizes the plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run the food out to the tables. Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket, or corrects with the Chef before delivery if not. Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used, clears dishes upon completion of each course and resets tables when guests leave including tablecloth, silverware, glassware, and napkins. Assists the server when needed, and keeps work stations well stocked of items and ingredients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other Team Members.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Serve Safe Certification preferred
• TIPS CERTIFICATION preferred
• CPR Certification preferred
• Able to work PM Shifts and weekend Day Shifts.
