The company is seeking a talented and passionate Food Safety Implementation Specialist
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Professional & Customer Services this role will focus on helping deliver customer satisfaction across a variety of projects.
Responsible for the implementation of clients’ Food Safety & Supplier management System onto Safefood 360° platform, by building a relationship with the client, creating project plans and driving the implementation from the kick-off to the training, making clients independent in using the application post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
- Learn and be proficient with the use of SF360 software.
- Collection and organisation of customer data from records and schedules.
- Interpreting the data and understanding how best to enter it into the system.
- Enter data into a prescribed database software.
- Ensure that accurate data has been entered into the database.
- Verify the entered data by reviewing, correcting, changing or deleting entered information.
- Manage the implementation projects for the assigned clients, meeting up with clients via the web weekly.
- Maintain and ensure project Smartsheets are up to date.
- Create and maintain effective project plans and drive implementation
- Manage clients' expectations, create project review meeting agenda and follow up actions report
- Assist the client during the implementation by providing best practice examples, and workarounds driving the project to meet the estimated deadline.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation to support clients in achieving compliance.
- Reporting to Head of Professional & Customer Services on the status and progress of all assigned sites in the set-up project.
- Identify training needs by evaluating clients’ strengths and weaknesses
- Schedule & Conduct Customer training addressing clients' needs
- Create a training plan when required
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the implementation
- Validation, preparation, and assistance with importing customer data
Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in food technology or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in Food Science (desirable)
- At least 3 years experience of front-line food safety/ quality coordinator role in a food manufacturing environment
- Experience in developing and maintaining HACCP systems in a food business
- The ability to solve the problem is essential
- Experience in dealing with 3rd party audits and bodies and customer technical audit
- Project Management experience and ability to manage clients’ expectations
- Account & client management, specifically the ability to engage with senior members of the management team of existing clients across the globe
