A role in
Food Safety, Quality, & Regulatory (FSQR) means supporting processes that help Target succeed by consistently delivering safe, high quality, and compliant food and beverages. As an FSQ Analyst you will work in a critical area that supports Target’s efforts to identify, prioritize and minimize areas of food safety risk. You will have accountability for execution and follow-up of product removals (recalls/withdrawals) impacting Target supply chain. You will have resources available to you as you leverage technology, metrics, reporting and communication to monitor and drive compliance in this critical area.
Responsibilities:
Support execution of all recall/removal events in a timely manner
Provide food recall coverage and after hour food recall support, as needed
Monitor the “FoodSafety&Recalls” email inbox and decide appropriate actions
Maintain an understanding and proficiency in all food recall actions and processes
Analyze data and provide reporting on guest contacts, product removals and compliance
Ensure 100% recall compliance reporting from impacted stores and DCs
Ensure timely responses to Store/DC/Merchant inquiries
Contribute to improving FSQR processes and systems through project participation
Communicate FSQR guidance to cross-functional teams and other partners as needed
Maintain food safety and quality documentation in appropriate systems
Cross-train as back-up for other critical processes within FSQR
Other responsibilities that support the FSQR team, as assigned

Skills and Experience:
1 - 2 years of relevant work experience (i.e., data analysis, system administration/ configuration)
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong system/technology aptitude & proficiency
Able to operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
Able to assess situations and offer ideas for continuous improvement
Comfort with ambiguity, must demonstrate a growth mindset
Able to interpret technical capabilities and apply knowledge
Must demonstrate collaboration and teamwork
Able to manage multiple tasks or projects and consistently deliver against timelines
Must be comfortable working independently, with minimal oversight
Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
