Job description

· Coordinates outgoing loads with Shipping Department and Purchasing Department

· Coordinates the unloading of inbound freight with Planning and Receiving Department

· Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.

· Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tanks, or replaces the liquefied gas tank.

· Maintains warehouse and storage area part location integrity

· Ensure all boxes/crates/pallets are labeled with part numbers or SO numbers

· Support all departments with material handling

· Communicate with staff about part delivery to an area

· Move NC parts to MRB quarantine area

· Dispose of scrap weekly after MRB disposition is determined

· Drive industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials

o Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus

o Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transport the load to designated area

o Load, Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.

Requirements and Desired Qualification

· High school degree or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Forklift Certification

Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
