Job Description:
Carlton Forge Works is the premier producer of seamless rolled rings as well as open and closed-die forgings for the aerospace, gas turbine, industrial, commercial, and nuclear industries. We have an exciting opportunity to join a winning team and work to leverage your technical skills as a Forklift Mechanic.
Job Duties:
- Ability to troubleshoot/repair forklift/manipulator problems.
- Hydraulic - leaks, resealing of cylinders, overhaul of control valves, etc.
- Electrical - starting problems, wiring repairs, etc.
- Mechanical - engine tune ups Engine/Transmission replacement, mast repairs.
- Assign shift work and train new employees as needed.
- Obtain/order necessary parts using service manuals.
- Attend meetings to discuss equipment issues or problems.
Required experience:
- 3+ years Forklift repair experience.
- High school diploma (preferred).
- MUST be able to read and write English.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Self motivated and positive attitude.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
