Job description
Royal Hawaiian Movers, Inc. has immediate openings for qualified Forklift Operators with at least 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience to join our freight department in Honolulu.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and materials.
- Assembling, addressing, stamping, packing, unpacking, and arranging for the transportation of products.
- Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents (i.e. manifests, bill of ladings) or supervisor instructions.
- Operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Positive, can-do attitude
- flexible schedule
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening (including marijuana, medical marijuana, and THC)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift 50lbs unassisted
- Sit, stand, crouch, or bend for extended periods of time
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1+ years of warehouse and forklift experience
