Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.

We are currently looking for Forklift Yard Operator at our Woodstock Plant.

This is for the evening shift, from 10am to 8pm Monday to Friday; subject to change throughout the season,

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Observations of all safety rules and company policies, work safely and as a team
• Loading and unloading flatbed trucks with Permacon products; retail items, wooden skids and other materials safely and efficiently
• Perform yard clean-up and housekeeping; remove plastic and wood debris when and where required
• Conduct daily forklift inspections of units and yard related documentation
• Performs all other related tasks requested by the supervisor

Qualifications and requirements

• 
  High school diploma
• Forklift License
• Teamwork oriented, initiative; responsible, able to react, to be precise; methodical
• Organized, must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines, people and under immediate supervision
• Must have judgement and communication aptitude
• Must be able to react efficiently and to operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Must have an excellent attendance record
