Foster Care Administrative Assistant & Transporter
Job description
Compensation Range: $16.86 - $21.07
The Foster Care Administrative Assistant & Transporter provides administrative support to the Cincinnati Foster Care staff. In addition to serving as a transporter of foster children served by the Cincinnati Office.
What you'll do
- Communicate effectively and appropriately in a respectful, clear, concise, and accurate manner. Actively listen to others and is open to their point of view and select the right tone and type of communication for the situation and audience
- Routinely provide high quality customer service in a courteous manner in interactions with clients and customers
- Accurately complete documentation required for the job, including the input of documentation in EHR systems
- Provide timely and safe transportation to youth and keeping accurate documentation of services provided
- Participate in on call and handle after-hours emergencies
- Adapt services to the language, cultural norms, and individual culture of clients and family members
- Complete or support continuous quality reviews and monitoring of pertinent data and procedures as needed for contracts, licensure, accreditation, etc.
Who you are
- High School diploma or GED, Bachelor’s preferred
- Two to four years related experience
- CPR, First Aid (Will train)
- Proficiency with computer programs necessary to complete the above tasks including Outlook, Word, and Excel
