Job description

Do you have a passion for children and families? We have full time opportunities for FOSTER CARE CASE MANAGERS in our Grand Rapids office. Our case managers work with parents & their kiddos to reach a place of family health, with the hope of preservation/reunification.

Job Qualifications

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related human service field.
  • Licensed by the State of Michigan preferred.

Experience

  • One year experience in child welfare, preferred.

Additional Work Requirements

  • Participate in a system of 24 hour availability to clients, foster and adoptive parents, as required.
  • Unrestricted valid driver’s license with good driving record. Reliable personal transportation suitable for safely transporting persons served; proof of current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lift/carry small children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $38,480.00 per year
