The Financial Planning and Analysis Group Manager is a senior level position within the Personal Banking and Wealth Management Finance responsible for providing management with analysis and insight into Operations and Technology financial results in coordination with the business partners and broader Finance team. The overall objective is to drive strategy, partner with leadership and cross-functional teams, identify incremental productivity and expense reduction opportunities, and provide advice/counsel on current and projected financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Build and present operating plan, monthly analysis, outlooks, and review results for Operating Expenses with operations or business leadership.
• Provide insight, understanding, and recommendations to drive productivity and operations efficiency.
• Develop financial projections and provide strategic leadership to the business Operations team and business Finance team.
• Analyze and accurately forecast performance inclusive of O&R’s to help manage the business.
• Prepare/present to senior management and stakeholders using metrics to evaluate and drive business decisions
• Support QMMF and CCAR processes for operations and technology function(s).
• Establish strong relationships and leverage them to seamlessly overcome challenges and meet business needs across both Operations and Finance.
• Promote collaboration and clarity across broad range of stakeholders around results, business issues and risks.
• Perform other financial analysis as needed to support the function or business.
• Manage a team of finance professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience within financial services
• Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge in additional systems including Oracle, Essbase, and SAP
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
