Yama's Fish Market is looking for efficient, enthusiastic and energetic front counter help! Come and join our family oriented close knit crew to service our regular "know them by name" customers. If you are articulate, clean cut, familiar with local and Hawaiian food, able to multi-task and move quickly to service our busy lunch and after work crowd, this may be the ideal job for you!

Yama's Fish Market is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. so No early morning or late night shifts! Work schedule is flexible, including weekends. Opening shift times start from 8:30 am with flexible ending time, and closing shifts generally ending by 6:30 pm.

Qualified full-timers will be considered for a management position!

Responsibilities include taking and completing customer food orders; ringing up sales accurately; maintaining well-stocked, clean and neat showcases; and performing other front counter support tasks, including cleaning. He or she consistently follows procedures and takes pride in giving excellent customer service. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work at a brisk pace. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in written and oral form in English. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds.

Starting pay is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience. Full-time candidates must be able to work any shift Wednesday thru Sunday. All front counter help can earn an average of $4 - $5 more per hour through a group tip pool, after successfully completing the training period.
