We are a podiatrist office looking to hire a Front Desk / Medical Assistant who is a highly skilled multitasker performing all job functions as required in support of a busy, 4 provider practice. Possess the drive and ability to participate in providing high quality health care to our valued patients. Is responsible for assisting patients with scheduling appointments, collecting intake information for medical charts, collecting, posting and managing account payments. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, terms, practices, and procedures within the field of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.


Essential Functions:

  • Greeting Patients in a Professional & Friendly Manor
  • Coordinating Patient Flow
  • Entering Patient Insurance and Demographics
  • Insurance Verification and Authorizations
  • Collecting Copays and Deductibles
  • Communicates to both doctors and patients using appropriate medical terminology.
  • Take a thorough detailed chief complaint, past medical history, social history.
  • Scribe objective and plan portion of encounter note at doctor’s direction.
  • Assist physicians with minor in office procedures.
  • Educate patients on conditions and treatments.
  • Maintain inventory, supplies, equipment, and sterilization of instruments.
  • Clean and sterilize rooms in a thorough and prompt manner.
  • Utilize Solutions Reach to confirm appointments, manage patient H & P intakes.
  • Will support and cover for other staff members as may be requested.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with EHR and medical terminology required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience working as a medical receptionist or medical assistant
  • Friendly and compassionate disposition
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records

Position will be at two office locations: West Chester (Tues & Thurs) and Jennersville (Mon, Wed & Fri)
