Ashley Furniture HomeStore is a small business located in downtown Plattsburgh, NY.
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The role will be a visible and welcoming presence for all of our customers, and will provide the first impression for new and returning guests. The ideal candidate will have experience greeting and handling requests, have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and possess an ability to maintain an organized schedule. The Front Desk Receptionist should also be able to multi-task effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to work well under pressure while remaining calm.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately answer the phone, take messages, and complete customer transactions.
- Provide information to customers to assist in business.
- Accurately answer phone calls and forward calls to the appropriate individual or department.
- Assist in coordinating shipments, receiving and inventory stock.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed; interface with other departments on business matters; receive and relay information from employees, clients and vendors.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
