Front Desk Receptionist
Jupiter Marine International – Full-time or part-time schedule. We may have some flexibility with scheduling around school drop-off and pick-up.
Essential Functions
Jupiter Marine is seeking a customer-focused individual that possesses the skills to manage the front desk reception area and assist with various office projects. Bi-lingual is preferred.
- Greet, welcome, and direct walk-in visitors
- Operate and manage a multi-line phone system
- Answer, Screen and Forward all incoming calls
- Communicate professionally (written and verbal)
- Provide administrative support daily
- Stamp, stuff, and mail accounts payable checks
- Order company office supplies
- Assist with planning company events
- Special projects as needed.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word & Excel
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to focus on completing a single task and adhere to deadlines.
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Strong communication and people skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, it requires walking, talking, listening, some lifting, opening filing cabinets and bending, or standing, as necessary.
Work Environment
This position requires the ability to work in an office setting, sitting at a computer workstation, with the ability to work much of the day using the computer, telephone, and basic office equipment. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate articulately using professionally written and spoken English. Spanish is a plus.
