Royal Dental Center is a privately owned General Dental Practice in West Bloomfield. We have an exciting long-term opportunity for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our family. Our ideal Front Desk Receptionist should have two years of experience working as a Receptionist in a Dental Office.

We are looking for candidates with experience verifying different types of dental insurance plans (HMOs/PPOs), copays, deductibles, and collections. Knowledge of dental terminology is a must and treatment plan experience is preferred. For immediate consideration, please submit your resume today!

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
• Answer telephone, check emails and voice messages daily
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Follow up on no-shows/cancellations of Appointments
• Verify insurance prior to patient appointments
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a receptionist in a Dental Office is required
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)
• Current experience with Dentrix Ascend
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent Communicator with patients and Staff
• Detail oriented with data entry accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
