We are actively seeking an Overnight Front Desk Attendant to join our team.

We are looking for an energetic individual that enjoys engaging with others and will deliver a memorable experience to our guests. Front Desk Service Professional's must have the ability to multi-task while maintaining a smile and calm demeanor.

The successful candidate will be outgoing, friendly, detail oriented, dependable and on time every day.

He or she will be able to efficiently guide our guests throughout all stages of their stay showing superior care and concern for their satisfaction and well-being. They will regularly encounter guests and will need to consistently provide a positive guest experience.

Job Summary

The responsibilities of a Front Desk Service Professional include: Greet and register guests, make reservations, assign rooms, accommodate special requests, and ensure our guests have a pleasant stay and smooth checkout. They consistently provide guests with an enjoyable experience and play an important role in our home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests every day.

Hours and Pay

This a Full Time, overnight position. The hours are 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. The pay is $16.00 per hour. This is an entry level position. Additional hours and cross-training may be available based on performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Smile and maintain a positive and upbeat attitude

· Communicate accurately and effectively with guests and co-workers alike

· Answer telephone calls cheerfully with a clear tone of voice

· Respond accurately and completely to give directions, instructions, information, answer questions and provide all services required

· Register guests; reconcile guest accounts, cash handling, process guest requests

· Effectively handle guests concerns and resolve complaints

· Coordinate and communicate guests’ needs with Shuttle Drivers

· Use basic arithmetic to check totals and make correct change

· Use google maps and give clear directions

· Memorize the hours of operation for the hotel facilities

· Efficiently operate the phone system and related equipment

· Operate alarm and emergency equipment

· Direct hotel evacuation in the event of an emergency

· Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

· Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner

· Skilled in use of a computer and related software

· Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures

· Ability to properly secure guest information

· Ability to learn and perform safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures within the hotel

· Ability to sit or stand for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Previous hotel-related experience is not required

· Prior to an offer of employment, the successful completion of a background check will be required
