What will you be doing?
A Front Desk Services team member is responsible for ensuring the success of our swim lessons by coordinating and reviewing class schedules, adjusting schedules for individual swimmers, speaking to families and maintaining a school that’s set up for success at every lesson. You’ll guide new families through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress from mini and junior swimmers to gliders to pros!

• Making sure you and your team are set up for success at every lesson by preparing class schedules and reviewing that day’s lessons for new, canceled or makeup students
• Talking to new and returning families about our lessons, our schedule and our well-established and proven curriculum of water safety, swim and swimplay skills
• Helping parents and family members as their schedule and students needs progress through our program
• Caring for the school by managing inventory, materials and by maintaining a sparkly clean facility when needed, making sure we offer the same quality standards for every child

What will be expected of you?

• Ability to work the same scheduled days every week (Ex. Every Monday from 8:30-1:30). Front Desk team members are scheduled for 5-8 hour shifts based around our lessons from:
  • Monday through Friday: 4:00-8:00
  • Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:00-1:00
  • Thursday: 1:00-3:00
  • Saturday: 9:00-3:00
  • Sunday: 9:00-4:00
• You have to be patient & genuine - every swimmer learns at their own pace, in their own way. Our willingness to help each student as an individual and your ability to bring your own personality to each conversation are key to the success of both you and the school.
• You must have communication skills to work not only with children, but with parents and team members as well
• The ability to do quality work and represent Goldfish Swim School’s mission to change lives and make a difference every day by going above and beyond with every detail, meeting and exceeding expectations to create a golden experience

The safety of our swimmers, parents and team members is of the utmost importance. Our pools are disinfected by a Nexgen chlorination system and additionally filtrated through a UV system to provide the safest swimming environment. Our state-of-the-art ventilation system allows fresh air to continuously circulate into our building, further minimizing the spread of any airborne virus. Industry experts note that indoor pools and pool operator are far superior at minimizing virus transmission than most indoor spaces.
