Our client, a luxury 4* Hotel in Galway has a fantastic opportunity currently for a Front Office Manager to lead and develop their Front of House team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced FOH manager with exceptional standards and commercial awareness, to play a key part in the management team of this thriving upmarket hotel. There is an excellent remuneration package on offer for the successful candidate.

Duties include

• Reporting to the General Manager, the Front Office Manager will lead the experiences of our guests at check in, check out and during their stay
• Ensuring the guests experience are of the highest quality
• Leading the team to achieve goals in relation to mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations and hotel standards
• Leading and developing the Front office team, making sure that they become prepared for the next step in their career
• Assisting in efficiently and effectively controlling front office departmental operations
• Contributing to the strategic running of the hotel

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in a Front office leadership role
• Opera essential - Opera Cloud advantageous
• Excellent skills in People leadership and development
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests
• The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team
• Group experience beneficial
