Front of House Manager
5 over 7, 40 hours a week
Salary, €17 p/hour (€35,360)
This role is an onsite front of house manager role for a well-known event space in Cork.

What would we like from our Front of House Manager?
- You have the ability to lead a team, manage costs, negotiate, and build relationship with suppliers as well as being compliant
- You will have experience within a similar role, a strong leadership background and be financially and commercially astute
- Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving and have the ability to display a real passion for hospitality, events and customer service
- Experience preparing for, coordinating, and managing onsite event and occasions is an advantage for this role
Front of House Manager requirements:
- Monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
- Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information.
- Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and that their food service and value expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Conduct Food Safety and Health and Safety Risk Assessments and ensure that all standards and procedures in respect of Hygiene and Safety are established and maintained
- To take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the section/s as appropriate
- To motivate and lead by example ensuring you and your team have fun at work and are proud of your efforts
- To take responsibility for contributing towards your own development with the guidance of the Catering Manager, attending training courses as identified.
- To show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role.
- To act as a positive ambassador for the business.
