Erdey Searcy Eye Group is looking for a receptionist for their front office. This is a patient-facing role that involves greeting patients, answering phones, managing paperwork and data entry, and providing an outstanding experience for patients.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required.
Medical practice experience required.
One year of experience as a front office receptionist in a medical office setting preferred but not required.
Experience in ophthalmology preferred.

High-level customer service skills.
Excellent phone skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a caring, patient, and friendly attitude.
Acute attention to details.
Ability to multitask.
Enjoy working in a team-based environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Answering phone calls from patients, referring doctors, and vendors.
Having face-to-face interactions with patients to verify demographic and health insurance information.
Updating data in an Electronic Health Record.
Collecting payments of all types including cash, checks, and credit cards.
Prepping paperwork, mailings, and clerical duties.
Scheduling appointments and managing the office schedule.

The compensation range for this position is $16-$19/hour, dependent upon skills and experience.
