Job description

New York Embroidery Studio is a fast-growing fashion design and production company, and we're looking to expand our accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconciling cash, bank accounts and revenues
• Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making adjustments as needed
• Monitoring the business' cash flow
• Issuing invoices to and collecting payments from customers
• Processing employees' timesheets and managing payroll
• Collecting information for auditing purposes

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with bookkeeping
• Experience with Quickbooks Online is a MUST. QB Online is different from Quickbooks desktop.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• We work with clients in the office every day, so this is an in-person position. Much as we'd like to, we can't consider hybrid schedules. We are in the office 9am to 6pm, Monday - Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
