Conciere, Security Officer in Dublin, City Centre

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Rate of pay is €12.50 per hour

• Day shift 0800-1800
• Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• PSA (Private Security Authority) License essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Previous experince

Job Descrpiption:

• Arrive on site in time to receive a full handover from night officer.
• Meet and greet all employees and visitors to be building.
• Be present at the desk, looking approachable and welcoming at all times
• Answering the phone and emails, responding to the tenants’ queries
• Based on the information received, create daily list of visitors, guests, contractors
• Keeping main reception clean and presentable, free from any hazards and obstacles
• Patrolling outside premises, making sure the entry to the building is free from hazards and obstacles, presentable
• Managing car park access as required
• Receiving and sorting out the post and parcels, keeping log of all incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Stationary and miscellaneous orders
• Issuing keys and cards to the contractors upon management request
• Keeping a log of issued cards and keys
• Managing customer requests for housekeeping and maintenance
• Reporting to the management maintenance issues
• Managing access to the building, incl. ordering access fobs, setting up new cards/fobs in the system, activating and deactivating fobs and card upon tenant’s request
• Observe CCTV and live ACT system to monitor access to the building
• Responding to the fire alarm and other alarm systems in the building
• First AID response
• Patrolling common areas/landlord areas, toilets/shower rooms check
• Provide information about nearest taxi rank, train station, bus stop, etc.
• Provide information and recommendations on local features, attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, nightlife and recreation
• Keeping yourself updated with the latest news- road closures, weather, events in the area
• Developing network of contacts, service providers and businesses within their communities to serve tenants
• Handing over information to the night guard
