We are looking for an enthusiastic dog lover to join our team!

Who are we?

Bay Area Canine Club offers an organic and professional approach to the traditional dog daycare, walking, and boarding experience. All of our dogs are carefully selected and heavily vetted based on individual temperament. We specialize in off-leash park and beach walks to provide our dogs with a well-rounded and enriched program. We provide services to clients in Noe Valley, Castro, Mission, Excelsior, and Bernal Heights.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a full-time employee to join our Dog Walking Department. As a key member of the Dog Walking Department, you will walk two curated and consistent dog packs per day. This position is perfect for someone who loves the outdoors and wants to join a growing and passionate team of animal enthusiasts!

Responsibilities

• Walking 2 dog packs (up to 8 dogs each) off leash in the park daily
• Use of positive reinforcement training to create an engaged and cooperative pack
• Transporting dogs to and from their homes
• Maintaining a clean and organized company-owned vehicle for your daily use
• Engaging with clients

Qualifications

• Experience in either animal or human care
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Comfortable in an outdoor, physical environment
• Valid California driver’s license, with a clean driving record
• Clean background check
• Commercial SF Dog Walker Permit a plus, but not required
• Dog walking and/or dog training experience a plus, but not required

Specifics

• Hours of Operation: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
• Must be available to work on Holidays
