The Department of Sociology invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track 1.0 FTE Lecturer position for Academic Year 2023-2024. The appointment may be renewed. Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate, liberal arts education.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses that contribute to the Concentration in Crime and Criminal Justice with in the Sociology major, the university-wide minor in Law and Society, and the Sociology curriculum generally. ABD in Sociology; Ph.D. in Sociology preferred.

The Community
