Teacher Qualifications:

• MUST have preschool or daycare expereince - Minimum of 1 year
• Pay is based on degree / CDA / steady work history / number of years experience.
• High school diploma or GED. Diploma preferred
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate preferred
• Must demonstrate experience and interest in working with young children and parents.
• Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of appropriate practices in early childhood development.
• Stable work history

Responsibilities:

• Implement classroom instruction based on predefined curriculum
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment for children
• Ensure the physical, social, cognitive and educational excellence of children
• Ensure that the classroom is aesthetically attractive so that students enjoy their surroundings while learning lessons
• Provide support to the lead teacher in planning lessons and daily activities based on the principles of child development
• Ensure development of positive relationships with children with a view to promote self- esteem and self-discipline
• Observe each child to assess skills, interests and needs and use this information to facilitate individual learning and growth
• Record any important observations regarding student development and ensure that it is communicated to the lead teacher
• Handle evaluation and creating reports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
