Center Point Energy is looking for a Gas Operations Supervisor to join our Team, located in Wilmar, MN.

You will have the ability to: To supervise and direct the operation and maintenance of the distribution system in accordance with established plans, policies and procedures. Provide our customers with a safe and adequate energy supply. Coach and develop the Field Operations Team ensuring desired individual performance, desired team performance and maintain a cohesive team environment. Participate as an effective team member of Field Operations that supports company and corporate goals and objectives.

• Participates in Field Operations development of department goals, expense/capital budgets and collective bargaining contract administration. Participates in a manner that supports department, company and corporate objectives, values and services.
• Cost effectively manages Field Operation activities to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Initiates regular contact with internal and external customers to understand their needs and expectations and build positive relations. Resolves customer complaints in a timely and constructive manner.
• Implements and administers policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for our customers, employees and the general public. Includes supervising emergency situations, assuming weekly night callout as required, promoting safety awareness to employees and assuring the availability of safety equipment in order to ensure the customer an adequate and safe energy supply.

Your background includes:

• Requires Business Administration Degree from an accredited college or university or a combination of education and experience which provides equivalent knowledge.
• Requires 5 to 7 years leadership experience in the delivery and/or gas distribution or related environment.
