Team Staffing Solutions is seeking several candidates to fill 2nd and 3rd shift positions for a major manufacturer in Ft. Madison! Pay starting at $17!!!

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To perform all the necessary steps to assemble materials into lower molds with emphasis on Blade Packing.

PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
• Ability to use hand & power tools and lifting equipment (gantry cranes).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• The employee must certify on packing standards for blades.
• Ability to read and understand metric measuring system

WORKING PROCEDURES:

• Receive and perform work assignments, oral and/or written and follow work instructions.
• Assemble and document blade assembly.
• Interpret drawings, sketches, etc. to obtain materials, tools, and dimensional information to perform essential functions of the job with minimal supervision.
• Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment to assemble, inspect, and evaluate parts per company standards.
• Perform visual inspections of specific equipment and tools required for each task or assignment.
• Verify dimensions of materials used in the packing process.
• Follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance operations.
• Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures.
• Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrate the ability to count and record material data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SAP and other MS Office computer tools
• Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis
• Sit, stand, bend & kneel for 8 or more hours/day
• Available for overtime for up to 12 -hour days and on off days

2nd shift hours: 2:55pm - 11:25pm

3rd shift hours: 11:05pm - 7:05am

Adhere to plant safety rules and programs as it pertains to self and all other associates, including performing audits, safety suggestions, and participation in safety rotation of jobs.

Perform various manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure plant quality standards on liquid packaging products and display units.

Responsibilities of Production Worker:

• Feed components onto assembly conveyor, into hoppers, machinery, or other devices to maintain continuous production.
• Replenish and unload components, such as corrugated cardboard, glue, plastic wrap, pumps, inserts, bottles, caps, labels, sprayers, etc., avoiding breaks in production assembly process.
• Manually assemble/install various liquid packaging component parts including but not limited to sprayers, caps, box dividers, cases, display units, etc.
• Clean, lubricate, reassemble, install, troubleshoot, and adjust assembly line equipment to meet yearly and daily maintenance requirements and to complete frequent reconfiguration of assembly lines in preparation for changing product runs.
• Perform various manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure plant quality standards on liquid packaging products and display units.

As a Press Operator, you will be required to prepare cartons, package products correctly, and conduct final quality inspections. Attention to detail is a must to ensure that products are packaged in boxes with the appropriate corresponding labels. You will also be responsible for placing proper quantities for product in each carton or tray and taping/sealing the cartons correctly. Minimal Factory- Entry Level Position. Must have basic knowledge of math skills to complete reports.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old to apply
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have a positive attitude and great attendance

Team Staffing Solutions has immediate openings for a local manufacturing facility in Keokuk, IA. at $20.88/hr.!

As an Operator/Packer, you will be required to wear a respirator while packaging solids into various-sized bags to meet customer requirements. This position is also responsible for performance of various mechanical checks on drying and packaging equipment and performing analytical testing.

Duties will include:

• Monitoring the machine
• Using air hoist to lift and weigh 50lb boxes of Mannitol (corn sugar)
• Monitor the scale
• Operate a chain hoist
• Performs assigned computer functions

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old to apply
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
• Must have great math skills and attention to details
• Must be able to wear a respirator
• Must work outside in all seasons
• Must be able to work in hot/cold climates
• Must be adaptive
• Must be able to go up and down stairs
• Must be willing to work Overtime
• Must have positive attitude and GREAT attendance

Schedule:

Packer: Rotating 8-hour shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd weekly)

Packer: 3am -1pm

Packer: 7am-3pm

Tester: 7am-3pm (Wednesday-Sunday)
