Kerry’s Landscaping is looking for hard-working individuals to join our seasonal Landscape Crew. We are looking for people with reliable transportation and are available on weekdays. Job Requirements:

· Valid Identification (driver's license if operating company vehicles)

· Reliable Transportation

· Ability to bend, stoop and walk across many types of terrain and elevations

· Able to pick up 30 pounds repeatedly and 40 pounds or more on occasion

· Able or willing to learn to operate gas-powered saws, blowers, weed trimmers, mowers, utility tractors, skid steer, mini-ex equipment, and dump truck

· Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED

· A good job for someone just entering the workforce

· Dependable

· People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects

· Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction

· Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction at times

· Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity

Responsibilities

· As a Landscape Laborer, your responsibilities are to be on time to work, have your own transportation to and from work, wear your provided safety equipment at all times, as well as be honest and hardworking with a positive attitude

· Assist crew in installing plants, trees, mulch, rock, topsoil, retaining walls, paver patios, water features, irrigation install & repair and all other aspects of landscape construction

· Load trailers for worksite daily

· Keep truck cab, bed, and trailer clean and organized for optimum efficiency

· Keep worksite clean by picking up trash, sweeping pavement, and spraying off dirt

· Listening to crew leader and maintain a good working relationship with your crew in order to learn the most efficient ways to construct landscapes
